Can I renovate while staying inside?
For most cabinet, wardrobe and door/window jobs — yes. Because we build off-site and install in a tight window, you can usually keep living in the house with only short disruption.
For most jobs, yes. Cabinets and wardrobes are built in our workshop and installed in a day or two, so you keep living in the house with only short disruption. We phase the work and control dust; some jobs still need you out of one room briefly.
Why it's usually manageable
- Cabinets and wardrobes are fabricated off-site — the noisy, dusty work isn't in your home
- On-site time is mostly a one-to-two-day install, not weeks of building
- We can phase it — do the wet kitchen first, then the dry, then bedrooms
- Dust control and daily clean-up so the rest of the house stays liveable
When you might need to step out
- A full kitchen swap can leave you without a working kitchen for a day or two
- Heavy wet works or flooring by other trades may need a room cleared
- We agree the sequence and the disruption up front — no surprises
