Match the opening to the room
- Sliding windows for everyday rooms — familiar, low-upkeep and space-saving
- Casement windows to throw the opening wide and seal tight against driving rain
- Fixed glazing where you want light and a view, not an opening
- Entrance and wet-area doors built for daily traffic and standing water
What actually decides the price
- Frame grade and glass thickness — sized to the opening and the exposure
- Operation and panel count — sliding, casement or fixed, and how many leaves
- Glazing — clear, tinted, frosted or laminated for the wet or west side
- A west-facing or coastal opening asks for a higher spec — we'll say where
Aluminium here is the frame system — the glass and hardware are specified to suit the opening. For the coastal or hard-west side we'll recommend a heavier frame grade and the right glazing; it costs a little more up front and saves the callbacks later.
