Fire-retardant ACP, solid aluminium and honeycomb, sintered slab, natural stone, porcelain, GRC and outdoor WPC — the exterior-wall systems ALUMAX supplies and installs across Sarawak. A facade is not a catalogue item: the substrate, height, access, wind load and fire rating set the system and the figure, so every job starts with a project review.
No price list here on purpose. A facade is engineered per elevation; we confirm the system and the figure after a site check and an approved shop drawing.
The systems
Each of these is a system ALUMAX supplies and installs, not a finish we improvise. The description is the specification we quote to; which one suits your elevation is confirmed at the project review.
Aluminium composite panel with a fire-retardant core, as required for building facades. Concealed cassette fixing for a clean finish, engineered to minimise surface waviness, with a ventilated cavity behind.

Solid aluminium sheet or aluminium honeycomb panel — premium flatness, rigidity and lightweight construction, with a ventilated, drained cavity, expansion gaps and rust-resistant fixings.

Large-format sintered stone slab with a low-joint modern architectural look — exterior-rated, fixed mechanically or with an approved adhesive system, with expansion joints and wind-load planning.

Solid natural stone for facades, columns and entrances — mechanically fixed, with efflorescence control and proper drainage detailing.

Exterior-rated porcelain or tile with flexible adhesive and mechanical anchoring, exterior-grade grout and movement joints at set spacing.

Concrete-look architectural panel with formable custom textures — an engineered backing structure, mechanical fixing with weight and crack-control calculations, and a sealed finish.

Outdoor-grade wood-plastic composite with a timber look, UV-rated, fixed on an aluminium or galvanised subframe — for facades, soffits, balcony ceilings and screens.

Weatherproof and elastomeric paint systems, stone-texture and spray-texture coatings, water-washed stone — decorative finishes over sealed plaster, not waterproofing systems.

ALUMAX supplies the products. Design is provided by ELS by ALUMAX as a separate design service. How a facade job runs
Send the building type, elevation size and the system you have in mind. We check the substrate, access, height and fire-rating requirement and say which systems fit.
The elevation is measured and set out — panel module, joints, cavity, drainage and fixings — on a shop drawing you approve before anything is ordered.
You approve the panel, colour and texture from a physical sample; textured coatings get a mock-up on the wall before application.
Installed to the approved drawing by our appointed service team, with the specialist scopes coordinated around it, and handed over with the material certificates on file.
Send a photo of the elevation, its approximate size and the building type, and we'll come back with the systems that fit and what the project review covers. Facade work is quoted per project, excluding SST, after a site check and an approved shop drawing.
Aluminium composite, aluminium, stone, slab and panel systems are exterior-rated and fixed to an engineered subframe; decorative coatings are finishes over sealed plaster, not waterproofing systems. Structural, access and authority scopes are by specialists and quoted separately.
