A clean fluted wall depends on the substrate and the setting-out. We fix WPC to a sound, dry interior wall and plan the panel layout, internal corners and trims so the joints land by design, not wherever the wall happens to end. On a damp or external wall we check and isolate the surface first, because a feature finish should never trap moisture against the structure. WPC tolerates interior humidity better than solid timber, but it is an interior feature finish, not a wet-zone material. We keep it off constantly-wet walls and, on a damp or external wall, isolate the surface first so moisture isn’t trapped behind the panel.
