Bulk production only works when nothing is left to chance. This is exactly how a contract project runs at ALUMAX — from your brief and BOQ, through a real prototype you approve and a frozen specification, to batch QC, installation and handover.
Why the process matters
Nothing goes to bulk production until you've approved a real prototype.
A developer can't commit to hundreds of units on a drawing. So we prove the product first — a sample board and a real prototype you approve — then freeze the specification. Only then does anything go to scale. Every step exists to protect that.

From one brief to an entire development — eleven steps

Brief / BOQ
You send drawings, a bill of quantities or a written brief — whatever you have. Nothing is required to start the conversation.

Technical review
We check the brief against what can actually be built — materials, sizes, moisture zones, buildability and any gaps in the drawings.

Value engineering
Where a material or detail can be simplified without losing performance, we propose it — so the specification is right for the budget before anyone commits.

Sample board
Physical finishes, colours and hardware — confirmed against real samples, not a screen. The signed board becomes the reference for the whole project.

Prototype / mock-up
We build one real unit — a kitchen, a guest room, a workstation — to the reviewed specification, so you can see and test the actual product before scale.

Client approval
You inspect the prototype and sign it off. Nothing proceeds to bulk production until the real thing is approved — not a drawing of it.

Specification freeze
Every material, size, finish, fitting and tolerance is locked to the approved prototype. The frozen specification is what every unit is measured against.

Bulk production
The frozen specification is routed to the right production — FLYHOME for standardized cabinetry, selected specialist partners for made-to-spec — and produced at volume.

Batch QC
Quality is checked across the batch against the frozen specification — not one sign-off at the end — so the last unit matches the approved prototype.

Delivery / installation
Delivered in phases to your site programme and installed the same way in every unit, coordinated with your build sequence.
